Medal Design:
Enamelled Maltese-style cross with white enamel and red translucent enamelled arms, mounted on an openwork crown wreath.
Central obverse medallion bears the royal crown with the inscription “PRIN NOI ÎNȘINE – 14 MARTIE 1881”, commemorating the proclamation of the Kingdom of Romania.
Reverse medallion displays the inscription “10 MAIU” within a circular ring.
Important Note – “10 MAIU”:
“10 Maiu” (10 May) was the national day of the Kingdom of Romania, marking key events including the arrival of Prince Carol (1866), the proclamation of independence (1877), and the coronation of King Carol I (1881).
